Calling BT or ANY OTHER 0800 number from a mobile

Most mobile phone providers in the UK still charge their users for calls to 0800, 0808 and 0500 numbers. If you receive inclusive minutes to UK landlines as part of your mobile phone contract, numbers beginning 01 02 03 should be included in these free minutes. www.0800Buster.co.uk lets you call these numbers using your mobile’s inclusive minutes, by providing you with a UK landline number to dial instead.

Instructions for using 0800 Buster

1. Dial 01255 84 0800

2. Enter the 0800, 0808, or 0500 number you want to phone
    For BT faults : 0800 800 151

3. Press # to start the call

N.B. Once connected to BT using 0800Buster you may hear a message telling you that calls to BT from a mobile may be charged for, and that you should redial using the 0330 number. Just ignore it, what is happening is your mobile number is being forwarded as the CLI (calling line identification) number.

Or you can take the slightly easier option and call BT faults on: 0330 1234 151.
